A new meme has taken the internet by storm - unsurprising, as it involves animals and food, animals that look like food, and food that looks like animals.

Karen Zack, a Southeast Portland woman, is behind the strange internet trend.
And it doesn't stop at puppies and bagels. There's also chihuahuas and muffins, labradoodles and fried chicken, sheepdogs and mops...the list goes on.
Zack says she got the idea when looking at pictures of ducklings in her phone.
"I was like, that kind of looks like plantains," said Zack. "That was probably the first one and then I just kind of kept looking for it after that."
Zack says she isn't making any money off the comparison memes, she just likes doing it.
"This is just fun! It's fun. It took off and I'm having a blast, chatting with people all over the world... pretty bizarre."
