A dog described by a New York shelter as "a terror in a somewhat small package" now has three strikes against him.
Ralphie is a one-year-old 26-pound French Bulldog that has been returned to the shelter for the third time after an unsuccessful adoption by a woman who tried but couldn't handle the little guy.
The Niagara SPCA said on Facebook that Ralphie "proved to be more than she could handle."
He went viral a few weeks ago after the shelter's ad for him with phrases including "wrath will ensue."
The shelter said Ralphie's first family found a new home for him after unsuccessful training but his second home didn't take after the family said he "annoyed" their older dog. Following a third failed adoption, the shelter has enrolled him in a six-week boarding and training program.
To help with the $6,000 intensive program, the shelter is asking for donations to help cover the costs.
